Hi Coach,

Thank you for reviewing my profile. My name is Lauryn Carbajal and I am a Class of 2024 graduate from Sunnyside High School in Tucson, Arizona. I play for AZ Hotshots/Zamora Club Team. I am a CF/shortstop/utility player, and was the starting varsity CF/shortstop for my high school team as a freshman and sophomore. I am passionate about softball. That passion is what drives me to work so hard. My goal is to play softball at the collegiate level, where I can earn a degree  while playing the game I love. I understand the value of each player and also know how a player's attitude can affect team moral; that is why I try to stay positive and build up my team-mates. I work very hard and lead by example. In addition to my passion for softball, I am a strong student. I bring the same level of dedication to my studies by taking honors classes and maintaining a 4.09 GPA. I want to continue to improve my skills and grow as a player and student at a college/university that aligns with my academic and athletic goals. As important as softball is to me, I know I cannot succeed without a strong academic foundation and a great family support system.
