Summer 2010Personal Statement
I am proud of the fact that I was key contributor to a State Championship season as a freshman on offense and defense, earning 1st team All Conference. I also earned 1st Team All Conference as a Sophomore as a pitcher when my team went to the quarterfinals. But, I am most proud of the fact that, as a Jr., we were a pre-season pick to be in the top 5 of Arkansas 4a teams, when we suffered a setback, losing 5 starters right before the season. We kept our heads up and stayed positive with 5 inexperienced freshman starters. Even though we lost 8 games by 1 run, we felt successful playing 2 State Champs in other classifications to extra innings. We didn't give up!
