Lauren Joyner '19 Recruiting Profile

My goal as a softball player is to become a dedicated, and magnificent college athlete.  I believe that a vigorous softball player not only has to be talented, but they have to have a good attitude on and also off the field.  In high school, I am in French Honorary, HOSA, Key Club, FTA vice president, and BETA.  I put in the time and effort everyday to improve myself and to become a better player and person.  I understand that the only person who can make you better and or worse is yourself and your drive/work ethic.  Over the past 12 years while playing softball, I have learned so much and contributed a lot to my softball career.  The person I am today is formed from not only by leadership, hard work, dedication, respect, and being a team player, but also my love for the game.  I know that nothing worth having comes easy.  I am and have always been a hard, dedicated worker, on and off the field.  I understand discipline and how important it is to be coachable.   I couldn't imagine not playing softball after high school.  It's a big part of who I am and how I've grown up.  I look forward to hearing from you and possibly visiting your campus soon.
