Softball has had an immense impact on my life. I have been playing since I was 8, and since then I have never wanted to stop. It has taught me the most important life lessons. I've learned that to reach my goals, I have to put in the work and sacrifice other things that I might have been looking forward to. The best feeling in the world is finally being able to say 'I did it', and this sport has given me so many opportunities to do that. I have also met some of my best friends through softball, and I have really learned how to work as a team. This has helped me in school, in which I excel at math and want to major in mathematics. I am so grateful for the role softball has played in my life.
