Personal Statement
My name is Sierra Chavez. I’m a 2024 grad at Rancho Cucamonga High School. I’ve been playing softball for 12 years and strive to play college softball. My primary position is catching and my Secondary is right field. Aside from softball, I enjoy reading, writing and painting. I want to study and major in English literature, in hopes to be an English teacher for the high school level. In the past two summers I have worked as an entrepreneur giving private swimming lessons, tutoring elementary kids in reading and writing and giving catching lessons. I also hold a job at a yoga studio as a front desk receptionist. I love to teach and be around kids and that is why I am pursuing an education degree.
