Making varsity as a freshman in high school was an honor, however continuing to play softball at the collegiate level was a blessing. Experiencing next level softball has always been a dream I would like to continue. After high school I played two years of softball at Reedley College. I was blessed to be apart of such a hard working, determined, resilient softball program. My experience at Reedley College helped me grow not only athletically but also academically. I was a torch excellence recipient both freshman and sophomore year. Not to mention, I was awarded outstanding student athlete of the year for maintaining a 3.0 or higher all of my semesters at Reedley College. Playing at Reedley College allowed me to learn many components that not only help me on the field but in life. For example, the value of teamwork, commitment, grit, and hard work. I was fortunate enough to be apart of the 2018's Central Valley Championship and advance to the playoffs. Unfortunately, we continued but lost in the second game of our second round series. My character, work ethic, and teamwork has brought me along ways on and off the field. As busy as I am I know I am capable of continuing to play collegiate softball. Having two jobs, being a full- time student, and full-time athlete while still maintaining a 3.0 or higher at Reedley College wasn't easy but it was possible. Therefore, I know I am capable of moving on to the next level. Just give me a chance, I'll take the challenge.
