Personal Statement
PLAY WITH HONOR This is what I tell myself before every practice and before every game. I love this sport so much, especially since it’s been put on hold due to the pandemic.
This year was to be my second year of playing in high school and was on a roll to put up some great stats but then COVID-19 happened. Between having to shelter in place since mid March as well as doing online learning from home, my world has been turned upside down. But in the end, softball is what’s been keeping me grounded. I’m determined more than ever now to play softball at the collegiate level no matter what. This is the sport I love and this is the sport that keeps me confident in myself.
My name is Taylor Rapp and I will graduate in 2022 from Livermore High School. I play for the NorCal Firecrackers Miller-Everett/Parry team. The positions I play are CATCHER and outfield. My very first game of travel ball changed my life and my parents’ lives forever. I am a dedicated, hard working, loyal to my team type athlete and will not disappoint you if you give me the opportunity to play for you.
