Hi my name is Lila Mae Partridge. I am a 2025 Pitcher/1st Baseman. I just want to say thank you in advance for taking the time to read my personal statement. I started playing softball when I was 5, but honestly I didn’t like it at first and didn't come back till next season. I started playing again when I was 7. When I started playing travel ball that's when I fell in love with the game. I fell in love with the game because I loved playing with different girls and meeting new people. I love having the feeling of a sisterhood. My bestest of friends have come from the game and I would love for that to continue! I feel my greatest strength is my competitiveness, but others might say it's my mental mindset. I love having the feeling of pressure when I’m on the field. I always want the ball because I know that my team has my back no matter if it's a friendly or the Championship game.
Going to my academic life I have always worked hard to keep my grades up so that I can continue to play softball. I have been in leadership since 3rd grade and will continue throughout high school. I currently have a 3.86 GPA and my goal is to obtain a 4.0 or higher throughout the rest of high school. Since I love challenges, I am looking for a college who can push me both athletically and academically. Thank you again for taking the time to read my personal statement.
