Jonalyn Kaapana '27 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jonalyn, but I also go by "Jon." I’m a versatile softball player with experience in the middle infield, behind the plate as a catcher, and in the outfield. I take great pride in leading by example and being a source of motivation for my teammates, both on and off the field.

Being named to the BVAL 1st Team All-League was a true honor and a reflection of my commitment to hard work, consistency, and continuous improvement. I bring energy, discipline, and leadership to every game and practice, and I’m always looking for ways to grow as a player and contribute to the overall success of my team.

Off the field, I am passionate about learning and plan to major in Education and Business while continuing to develop my interest in photography. My faith, my family, and cultural background are core parts of who I am.  They ground me, inspire me, and shape the way I approach life, academics, and athletics.

I’m excited about the opportunity to play at the collegiate level, compete at a higher standard, and be part of a program where I can contribute, grow, and make a meaningful impact.
