Emily Simon '22 Recruiting Profile

I began my softball career as a catcher. Absolutely LOVED catching! My coach also placed me in center field since I had a strong arm and fast transition. LOVED outfield. At the age of 14, I started playing around with windmill motions. My mother jokingly asked if I wanted to take a pitching lesson? I DID - and have been pitching since. I have had only a few years to catch up with my peers who started young and have worked super hard to earn success on the mound! It is easy to work hard when I have a passion. My other passion is art, and I would like to earn a degree in either illustration or fashion design. My goal is to find a college program with both softball and art - not easy - but I will work hard to find it!
