Kharime Caratachea '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Kharime Caratachea. I am 14 years old and I’m a sophomore at Ripon High, in Ripon California. My strongest attribute as an athlete, has been my 4’11 stature. Many see this as a disadvantage, but this has only pushed me to work harder. It is a thrill for me, to step onto the field and put my skill and craft to work. As an athlete, I also know that my academics are the key in being able to continue my career in softball. I carry a 3.85 GPA and I would like to major is psychology and/ or sports medicine.  Softball has been in my life for the past 4 years. I currently play for and 18u team and it was both, a scary and exciting decision to play up! I am taking this awesome opportunity to push my skill set and to surround myself with athletes that aspire the same success in this sport as I do.
