Kailey Yahya '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Kailey Yahya... Thank you for showing interest in my profile. I am a dynamic leadoff slapper and base stealer who has been very productive against some of the best teams in the country. I am currently ranked #79 elite by extra innings for 2024's. I also play outfield and have the speed to track down difficult balls as well as a very strong arm. I've been called the "impossible out" because even when teams get in "slap" defense, I still get on! On defense I have tremendous range as a center fielder. In 2021 when my team was second year 14U's we played in the PGF National Championship game which we lost to Virginia Unity.In 2022 as first year 16's we finished 5th in PGF premier, and I led my team against some of the best pitchers in the country. I am looking to continue playing the best competition as I prepare myself for college softball. There are many factors to ponder when deciding where to go to school and I feel blessed to be in consideration by some of the great coaches who have impacted the game of softball.
