Maya Gomez '23 Recruiting Profile

My goals and aspirations are to get into college, full ride or scholarship, and to be hired in a well paying job and or career.  As a player I am well aware that the game is mainly mental while the remainder is physical.  I am willing to lead and encourage my teammates to be the best players we can be. Softball is not focused on one player, everyone has a role and must play their part. People may say to have fun and enjoy yourself out on the field, I surely do, but I know when to turn the fun and “goofing around” off when needed. As far as athletics I have played basketball and soccer in my younger years. I am a utility player, I can play anywhere besides pitcher. My academics are not too shabby if I don’t say so myself. I have a 3.9 g.p.a or possibly higher in my recent report card. Thank you.
