Juliana Lane '19 Recruiting Profile

I am great left handed pitcher with incredible spin and movement.  My curve and drop curve are my two best pitches. I also have great success with my change-up and rise ball.  I have love and passion for the game, and really want to play in college.  I'm a natural leader and get along well with all my team mates.  I have a great relationship with my coaches and I respect and value their feedback.

Achievement oriented, and highly competitive both on and off the field.  My weighted GPA is 4.2 and I have a cumulative GPA of 3.81.  A notable achievement: In November 2017, I entered the National Novel Writing Month Challenge and successfully completed a 50,000 word novel in 30 days, earning special recognition, and a letter of recommendation for college from my HS English teacher. I plan to pursue a degree in Neuroscience, so I chose to write my novel about a subject that ties to that field of study.  I balance my athletic and academic focus as well and am outgoing with a great sense of humor.  I always like to be doing something active.
