Sophie Mendoza '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Sophie Mendoza and I am a Senior at Sanger High School in Sanger, CA. I have been playing softball for as long as I can remember. As a freshman I started at first base on the JV team and received the Co-Coaches Award after the season.  As a sophomore I fought and earned myself a starting spot at first base on the Varsity team.  Junior year I started at first base and had to fight for my way back into the lineup. Then earning "Best Offensive Player" and First Team All CMAC at the end of the season. I am an all around hard worker in the classroom and on the field. I believe I would be good for your program because I am the kind of teammate to bring positivity and motivation to my team. I am also very coach-able and love to play the game.
