I began playing softball at age 7. My mom introduced me to it because she thought I have natural athletic ability. From 8u to 12u I played for the same coach. He was a great coach and person but I started to realize I wasn't improving. Knowing this, it led me to get out of my comfort zone and leave a team of close bonds and good times to play for a team that would challenge my skills and drive me to be better.
I would describe myself as being personable, humble, genuine, respectful and a leader. At this point in my life my biggest goal is to play softball for a college that suites my academic needs. My story might be small, but what it taught me is that you can't grow unless you push yourself. Some people might be good in their comfort zone. I know I am not and I am going to keep driving to be the best version of me I can be.
