Katelyn Magana '17 Recruiting Profile

Hello

My name is Katelyn Magana, a 2017 Corner infielder. I am 5'3 and weigh 180lbs. I go to Tustin High School in Tustin CA. I am an outstanding student and work hard to maintain a grade point average of at least 4.0.

I'm the starting 1st baseman for Tustin High School. I also play both corners for Firecrackers Fitzgerald. I hit with power and bring in the runs. I am very flexible and use that ability to make the plays.

I take weekly hitting lessons from Mike Schroder. I also take fielding lessons from Morgan Stuart (WA) once a week.  I am continually working on improving my technique and looking for ways to improve my hitting. I also do weekly conditioning to improve my strength and power.

In my free time, I enjoy helping with my siblings team practices. It allows me to teach them what I have learned along the way and that in turns makes us both better.
