Dakota Coleman '25 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Dakota Coleman. I am a member of class 2025. I have been playing softball since I was six. I have tried several other sports but softball is my passion. For the past 4 years I have played summer travel ball for Key West. 2021 was my first year of playing school ball. As an eighth grader starting varsity, I learned a lot. During 2021 I have played catcher, second base, first base, and I even pitched a few games. I am hard working, dedicated, and easy to coach.

Before moving to Lecanto Florida in 2022, if i didn't have a game on the weekends, you could usually find me volunteering in my community. I usually volunteered for the Wild Bird Center in Marathon or SNIP, (spay and neuter clinic) also in Marathon. Since 2019, I already have over 200 volunteer hours.

I am a member of the Junior Honor Society and my goal is to attend a Veterinary Science College or Marine Biology. 

Since moving, I continue to work hard in school and at practices. I continue to look for community service opportunities and attend when possible.
