Anne Gerwitz '16 Recruiting Profile

I have played the last year and will play this coming year at Chesapeake Junior College. Playing here as made me realize more than ever that I am not ready to stop playing this game that I love. I am dedicated to playing softball and enjoy playing a variety of positions, wherever my coaches need or place me. I have played outfield, short stop, second and third base. I started at third base last fall and spring season and at short stop in this past fall season. I work hard, have a great attitude and am a leader on my team. In addition, I've been told I am highly teachable. I have a 4.0 overall GPA to date I am also in the prosses of taking honors courses. Last year I was selected for the Academic All-Regional First Team for the 2016-2017 season I also batted 375. I reside in Ft. Myers, Florida with my parents and three brothers when I am not attending college.
