Lauren Dove '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello Coaches, 

I have hopes in college to pursue science mainly biology and biochemistry. I have excelled in the science fields throughout high school and have had a long-lasting want to go into pre-med. I want to become a dermatologist when I am older, this being sparked from learning about skin cancers and my mother's avid need for me to always have sunscreen on as a child. I see myself as a perfect teammate since I am always willing to have fun and joke, but I also know when to be serious. I also pride myself on being a great communicator on the field and as a catcher I take charge when directing plays. I believe I stand out as an individual because I am hard-working and easy to befriend, but I also understand priorities and will not overwhelm myself with my activities. I have balanced playing multiple sports, extracurriculars, and academics throughout my whole high school career and will continue to pride myself on organization.  When it comes to athletics I am very teachable and a visual learner and can help my fellow teammates as well with drills, etc. Along with having great communication, I love team spirit. I have had coaches from other teams compliment me on how loud I am when playing and how they notice how my teammates respond to me, whether that's a positive response to a cheer or when directing a play.
