Ava Fobian-Hernandez '24 Recruiting Profile

I am a senior and had a breakout season the past year. I was the top batter on my team and top 10 in my region. I don’t make mental mistakes and learn from any errors I may have. I only had 2 all year as a catcher and outfielder  I have been training to pitch as well to be able to call my self a utility player.  I plan to major in Pre Med and want to be a trauma doctor or a neonatologist. I want to become a doctor to give back to my community. My primary position is Catcher, but I can play anywhere you need me to. I bat left and can bunt and slap as well.  I made Varsity all 4 years and was a starter for each year. I was recognized by the GHSA as a Freshman, Sophomore, and made the all region team as a junior.   I also received the coach's award for mvp my Freshman year and junior year.  I am reliable and very coachable.  I am a hard worker and always give everything I have. I am open to criticism and always strive to be better each day. I don't give up or accept defeat in any shape, form, or facet. I was bit in the face by a dog and still showed up to play with stitches, looking like Frankenstein. I was in a car accident on the way to practice and never once stopped pushing forward. I always show up. My coaches have always been able to count on me.
