Blair McClain '26 Recruiting Profile

I am a team first player.  We work best together.  I focus on working hard and improving my skills regularly, as there is always room for improvement.  My school work is also a reflection of my dedication to education and playing at the next level.  My strengths in the game of softball are my consistent hitting abilities and seamless fielding.  When I am in the dugout, I enjoy leading the cheers, since no one wants a quiet background when they are hitting!  Should the demeanor of the team get down in difficult parts of games, I help to remind them that staying positive is crucial to also improving in the game.  Always keep your head in the game and focused.  Call the runners, look up where hits went last, what pitches were called.... There is always something to do to help your team.
