Samantha Nieman '13 Recruiting Profile

I absolutly love to play softball, it is by far my favorite sport! I am 5'4" and I weigh 120 lbs. I am a dedicated player and I take the time to learn new things and I am open for suggestions on improvement. I play every position, but I am just now learning pitching this year; I am not saying I am the greatest, but I am learning day by day. I have a strong passion for softball, and I plan to play it for the rest of my life. I got 2 MVP awards last summer while I was on the traveling team, and at the University of Illinois softball camp I was given the Gold Glove Award and the Slugger Award. I would really like to attend the University of Illinois or Washington University in St. Louis after high school, but I am open to other schools too. I would like to go to college majoring in social working. I want to be a social worker when I am older, because I love helping people out and saving them from bad situations.
