Kasey Westmoreland '20 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing softball for the majority of my life and have always had the goal of playing in college. I am currently playing travel ball with Atlanta Premier Martin/Caine ‘01 located in Cumming, Georgia. My primary position is 3B, but I also play middle infield. My high school team finished 2nd in state for 8AAAA in the 2017-2018 season. In the 2018-2019 season, I was selected onto the 2nd Team All-Region. I was also selected and played on the USA Elite Select National Team in 2015. I also played on the TMB (The Maxx Bat) National Team and have competed in tournaments with them in NC and IN this past year. I have taken weekly lessons at DSA in Winder, GA with Taylor Schlopy (Hitting) and Alex Hugo (Fielding) and most recently with Megan Wiggins (Hitting) at High Impact Training in Watkinsville.

My current GPA is 4.16 (98.28). My current weighted class rank is 11 of 238. After high school, I plan on attending college and pursuing a career in Sports Medicine/Athletic Training.

I am a member of Anchor Club, Beta Club, HOSA, FCA, National Honor’s Society, and Toccoa-Stephens County Youth Leadership. In my free time, I enjoy swimming, kayaking, being outdoors, and spending time with my family and friends.
