Michaela Fonoti '19 Recruiting Profile

I believe I can contribute as a competitive team player at any level. I feel I’m pretty easy going, enjoy meeting new people and love playing competitive softball. I also love playing the “hot” corner. My coaches have said I’m pretty fast for my size. I love working out and could probably live in the weight room. Singing and dancing is my “outside” softball, most favorite things to do. I love music, period. My Saber teammates call me RADIOOOOO.!!!! Go figure. 

I swing a Louisville Slugger PXT.  I’ve been told I have a lot of Power, so for the past few years, I’ve been really dedicating my time to my Hitting. I am willing to make sacrifices for my team. One of my club team sayings was “Hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard.” I firmly believe that anyone who puts in the time and work will develop into the best player they can be. 

I’m excited to play at the collegiate level. It has been a dream of mine to go to college and play softball. The game of softball continues to teach me how to work through adversity, be disciplined and a team player. I love the game of softball and can’t wait to see where I’m headed next.
