Lexi Ann Hinahara '25 Recruiting Profile

Hi I'm Lexi Hinahara, I am from Aiea Hawai'i. My primary position is catcher, but I can also play 3B, 1B, and OF. I attend Punahou School in Honolulu, Hawai'i, and I graduate in the class of 2025. I would be so grateful to be able to play softball at the next level, as well as being able to help out my family financially. 

I enjoy playing softball because no matter how good you may think you are, this sport will always find a way to humble you. During practices, I'm always looking for ways to improve, and I like getting feedback from my coaches on how I can do so. Playing softball has taught me how to work towards my goals, not just on the field, but in the classroom as well. I also enjoy the challenges of being a student athlete because not only does it challenge me physically and mentally, but it also teaches me how to manage my time, what to prioritize, and how to see failure as a path to success. 

After putting in many hours, sweat and tears into this game, and I would be so grateful to see my hard work pay off by allowing me the opportunity to further my education at a great college.
