Hello from Irina Rieser! I am an energetic Student at Metea Valley High in Aurora, Illinois. I am a Senior Student with a 3,0/4.0 grade average. I have been playing softball since the age of 9 years. I am a pitcher on my traveling Diamonds 18U team, however I also play the infield and the outfield well. I am fast and quite skilled at stealing all those bases. I am often made the teams designated runner at tournaments. I am an all around softball player, except for the catcher position. When pitching I am in the strike zone consistently, or when needed to be. I can throw the fast, rise, change up and drop ball. My pitches may have a arch on them when thrown, which some batters will strike underneath the ball the creates a pop fly ball. This can give the team an other opportunity for a out.
I am well liked in school for I have an outgoing, fun and logical personality. I enjoy sports as well as learning in school. My school interests are in the medical field such as nursing, physician assistant, speech pathology, or audiology. I can play the piano and I do enjoy my music on the iPhone.
I would like to engage in college ball for I like the competition and its FUN! One day, I hope to teach my children how to play softball. Perhaps I will have the kind opportunity of being their coach. Thank you!
