Reese Valha '24 Recruiting Profile

I am a utility player but mainly play outfield and middle infield. I currently play for the Schaumburg Sluggers Premier 05 team. I have been a starter on varsity my last 3 years in high school and would consider myself a leader. I enjoy picking my teammates up and setting the tone for every practice and game. My last two years of high school I have been named to the DVC all conference team unanimously. I find myself to be a good example for others and a good teammate to be around. Although my love for softball is strong, my first priority is my education. I pride myself in getting good grades and staying on top of my school work. I have played both softball and basketball all 3 of my high school years which has given me a strong work ethic. I look to improve my game and get better every chance I get. Softball has been my passion since I started playing at a very young age and I hope to continue playing in the future at the college level.
