Keira Hayton '25 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Keira Hayton and I’d like to compete at the highest level I can and help the team succeed. 

I am excited to experience softball at the highest level and better myself as a player and person on and off the field. My mom always preaches how softball teaches so much more then just the game. Working side by side  with amazing athletes with the same love I do for the game sounds like a great way to spend my college years. Finding myself as an independent person but very team oriented and organized will for sure help me when I graduate and start my career in whatever that may be. 

I bring a lot of speed to the game and my coaches call me a “ triple threat” because of my hitting power, slapping and bunting abilities at the plate. I primarily play outfield and some middle infield but I can play anywhere the team needs me. My academics are strong and I will continue to work hard in the classroom as well.  Can’t wait to start my next chapter with a sport that has already given me so much.
