Amber Syc '27 Recruiting Profile

My name is Amber Syc and I'm a catcher/3B on a competitive team Batbusters-Rogers09. My passion is softball, and school. I am reliable, hardworking, motivated, positive, and coachable player. I train 6 days a week between lifting, catching drills, fielding, and hitting. I have been the starter catcher for my middle school ball team Reed Custer Panthers in Braidwood for the last 3 years. My 8th grade year I got to be part of history for our school softball. We were the first softball team to make it state and we won state. I am currently an assistant coach for my town's t-ball team.  My goals for the future is to play college softball, go pro, and my end goal is to train future softball athletes that share the same passion as I do for softball. 

I'm a 5'6 catcher with a verified pop-time 1.68. My overhand throwing velocity is 67mph.  My batting average for the fall season is .534
