Caitlin Blackburn '19 Recruiting Profile

I hope to study engineering and play softball at a top level school. I always work hard and push myself beyond comfort. My coaches and team think I am a fun person to be with in a dugout. My dream has been to play college softball since I was a little girl who loved watching the Women's College World Series. I'm very competitive and can do anything I put my mind to. I am a leader on and off the field. My hardwork and determination at practices and games always shows. My coaches have pushed me to be the best athlete and person I can be. My coaches find me to be someone they can trust and count on. My teammates can rely on me and count on me to pick them up when they are down. I not only work hard on the field, but in the classroom. I maintained a 5.57 GPA, taking many rigorous courses, while at the same time working hard in softball. I have worked so hard in the classroom and on the field in hopes of atteding a great academic school and to play softball at the highest level possible.
