Aubrey Holmes '28 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Aubrey Holmes, and I am currently a Sophomore at Tri-Valley High School in Downs, Illinois. Ever since I began playing softball, I have dreamed of playing at the collegiate level. I am a pitcher and utility player with a solid bat. In my 8th grade year of school ball, I was the starting pitcher, and I lead my junior high varsity team to the sectional championship game. Last year, I played and pitched varsity for my high school team. For travel, I play for BNGSA Angels 15u Krones, where I am in the top of the team stats in batting average, OBP, Slugging, OPS and total hits. In Summer 2024, our team won the USSSA Great Lakes points race.

What differentiates me from other players is my grit and determination. I believe in hard work to get results and will outwork all others to achieve my goals. During the weekdays, I work out 3 times a week and practice on my own. I participate in band, and I am also a member of FCA and Key Club. I currently have a 4.0 GPA and completed several high school credits while in junior high. I look forward to playing softball at the next level and joining my future college team!
