Personal Statement
I have been playing softball since I was 5 years old starting in tee ball all the way up to currently a 16u travel ball team in Illinois. Since sixth grade, I have aspired to play at the collegiate level and earn an opportunity to further my education while doing so. I know that playing in college is an incredible, phenomenal, and once in a lifetime opportunity that could change my course of life with the opportunities that it brings.
I am a team leader, supporter, and try to lead with experience, knowledge, and example all while also encouraging my teammates to strive towards their own goals and aspirations. I am extremely motivated, easily coached and I strive to be one of the hardest working players if not THE most hardworking player. I am willing to work to prove I am one of the hardest working and engaged recruits you’ll find.
In the classroom and out, I study well and achieve a 5.0 GPA, the highest I can possibly receive. I also volunteer at a local youth group and am currently active with the YMCA youth board in my community.
I want to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom and in the game I love. I am open to all options and ultimately want to find the right college match at the highest level of competition possible. I hope to become a great role model to all peers and most importantly, make my parents proud.
