Madelyn Logsdon '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Madelyn Logsdon and I am a junior at Mahomet-Seymour HS in Illinois. I have a 5.08/4.0 cumulative weighted GPA due to advanced and honors classes. Currently, I am looking to major in Biochemical Engineering at a college with classes that will push me to be my best. 

I have played softball all my life, and I have been in love since rec ball.  Once I joined a travel team, I noticed the amazing family you get once you get close to the girls on your team. I love the team aspect where everyone has your back in softball-related and -unrelated  topics. As for the actual sport, nothing can beat it. Softball is my release from the stressful world. When I am in the game, I can’t think of anything else. It makes my problems fade away, leaving me in the best mood and very energetic. That makes me a very vocal catcher and leader of my team.

I would love to play in college someday since softball has always been an unmoving piece of my life. I look forward to growing as a player while coaches watch me and see what I can do!
