Taylor Werner '19 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing softball for eight years and have challenged myself by playing up an age level for most of my time in travel. My primary position is 3B and secondary positions at SS/1st. One of my favorite parts of the game is hitting. I have a big responsibility to help my team and it is feels great to know that I have contributed to my team's success. I have worked closely with my hitting coach and am proud of the progress I continue to make at the plate.

In the classroom I excel and have maintained honor roll status consecutively all through middle school and high school. Each semester I have challenged myself to take honors classes and am proud of my academic achievements. 

In addition to my committment to excellence in school and on the field, I am a team player. I have always been seen as a respected leader amonst my peers leading by example on and off of the field. It is important to me to give your best effort and to be committed to the team. 

As I look towards my future, I would like to find a school that would allow me to pursue my degree in Accounting while playing the game that I have loved.
