Everyone should have the opportunity to be something bigger than themselves, being part of something great! For the last 11 years, I've had the joy and experience of playing softball from the beginning of T ball up to now playing travel ball. Through these years, I've been surrounded by my supporting parents, wonderful coaches, awesome players, and families that have developed me into the person I am today. I'm honored to have endured these experiences that have given me the experience to find success, find disappointment, and so many learning points along the way. The most important experience I've faced is adversity. My freshman year in high school, there was an event that I wanted more than anything and I wasn't selected for it. This event made me work harder and even focus more to re-evaluate my goal to succeed. I realize that I'm not a failure and it gave me an important life lesson and an opportunity to be a leader. It made me realize that I'm a person first and a player 2nd. It opened my eyes to something more. Softball teaches me not only on the field, but outside of the game.
