Leah Pierson '26 Recruiting Profile

I am the starting catcher and leadoff hitter for my travel team. I started my catching career at 7 years old on a major's team. I have always played with older girls. I enjoy having to prove my abilities to my coaches and teammates. My favorite thing about softball is the competitiveness within the team and against other teams. After college, I want to become a physical therapist. I have had many injuries in my career, so I know what it is like not being able to play or not being at the level you were. I want to help young athletes get back to where they were and help them get to the best of their abilities.  I am a hardworking, perseverant. This would make me a great asset to any team. I also enjoy improving my skills as I am very coachable.
