Reaghan Dowden '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Reaghan Dowden. Thank you for taking the time to review my profile. I am a senior at New Palestine High School in New Palestine Indiana and will graduate in 2022. I have a cumulative GPA of 3.3. I have been playing softball since the age of 5 and have always loved the game. It has taught me perseverance, hard work and learning how to set and achieve goals. I have been a pitcher since I was 10 and am very passionate about the role of pitcher on a team.  It has taught me how to be a leader and also how to be calm under pressure.  I love that as a pitcher, I am involved in every play of the game.  Softball has given me wonderful opportunities to forge friendships with both former and current teammates.  I am looking for a coach and program who value education, both on the field and in life. I have a passion for helping others - especially animals. I want to pursue a degree in biology/animal science and eventually continue onto veterinary medicine.
