Haley Wilson '20 Recruiting Profile

I have always had a dream to play softball in college, my whole life has always been about softball, its the one thing that I can use to escape from things and be myself. Talent is nothing without dedication and that's why I always work hard to get to the top, and if something goes wrong and I drop down to the bottom, I work even harder to get to where I belong. I used to be terrified of playing softball because I would always make mistakes, but then I learned that making mistakes was the one thing that would help you get better. That's what I plan to do, become better and always push myself. I know that in softball there is always someone better, that is the one thing I tell myself to make sure that I know that I always need to work hard. I like to think of myself as a leader because I know how to communicate with my teammates and I know that I need to do what's best for me and my team. I have nothing but dedication to playing softball, if my coach tells me to do something I do it without hesitation.
