Briana Kaufman '26 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Briana Kaufman and my collegiate goals are to get my masters in Nursing in order to become a Nurse Practitioner and to compete at the highest level available to me in softball. My main positions are third base and shortstop. What makes me an ideal candidate for your team is my ability to overcome difficult situations on or off the field and the encouragement of my teammates. I believe that in challenging times, staying calm and collective is necessary in order to surpass it. That trait is what I strive to keep achieving in every aspect of the sport. As for encouraging teammates, it is crucial that we support each other as we work together for a common purpose, to succeed. For when we are discouraging our own it only hurts the team in the long run. Putting the teams needs before my own is my number one priority when I step onto the field. In my academics, I am not afraid to ask for help or to put in extra work. I believe that performing well in academics is just as important as completing to your greatest potential.
