Ella Kaufmann '23 Recruiting Profile

I have always desired to play softball at the highest level that I can.  This is what pushes me to set goals and never lose motivation, even through the toughest moments.  It is my 9th year playing, and every year I seem to love softball even more. Even from the beginning, I knew I loved this sport.   My competitiveness drives me to want to be great at anything I do, including school. I know the balance between school and sports, and I always find a way to complete my school work, even if this means doing it on the car ride to practice.  Right now, I have a 4.0 GPA in academics, and I am fluent in French (as well as English). I love learning things and besides softball, I am also a high level ski racer, ranked 15th in the province this year. I also have a passion for running, including cross country, and sprints in track and field.
