River Johnston '22 Recruiting Profile

I love fastpitch. I am currently a college athlete playing my 2nd eligibility year in OCAA. I am a 3rd baseman and catcher for Seneca College, but also play shortstop,1st base and outfielder for my summer team.

I am completing my 2nd year of a 2 year diploma program for Flight Services and Cabin Management. I am looking to keep playing Collegiate Softball at a Canadian College For my 3 more years of eligibility. 

I excelled in my College rookie year, having placed 4th in RBIs, and was named to the OCAA second all star team. This year I am in the top 10 for batting average and 13th in slugging percentage. My GPA for my first year in college was 3.5/4

I am a very dedicated athlete and am looking to play on a team with likeminded team mates who like to win and create long lasting bonds.

I graduated from high school as an Ontario Scholar (2022) and received athlete of the month and MVP for the softball team. I was also an Ontario Scholar (honor roll recipient for 11th and 12th grades) and received a school letter award for well rounded student.
