Olivia Woytiuk '21 Recruiting Profile

Hi my names Olivia Woytiuk and I am currently 18 years old. I am a middle infielder/outfielder that graduated in class of 2021, thank you for taking the time to view my profile. 

One of my biggest goals I‘ve had for as long as I can remember is to play at a high level of college softball. I played and traveled with the 222's based out of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada.  I have a strong sense of work ethic. I bring a positive attitude, a high softball IQ and respect to a team. I have always been a multi sport athlete. Other sports include; Broomball, volleyball, track, cross country, badminton and curling. Some of my biggest achievements in my softball career include 4 provincial titles (2015, 2016, 2017, 2018), silver medalist at provincials (2014), bronze medalist at  provincials (2019), GPLS*girls prairie league softball* gold medalist (2017, 2018, 2019), a silver medal at Saskatchewan summer games (2016) and a fourth place finish at Canada cup (2019). I apply my work ethic not only to my softball career but also into my academics. I am a hard worker and will be establishing that attitude to everything I do in life. I grew up on a purebred cattle and grain farm in Saskatchewan, Canada. I have also been involved in the 4-H beef program for 12 years taking leadership rolls in my club. For my post secondary education I will be earning my degree in animal science. 

I currently attend Otero College in La Junta, Colorado and will be graduating with my associate of science in the spring of 2023. I am looking to transfer to a 4 year institution to earn my degree in animal and to continue my softball career.
