Personal Statement

  • Goals: My goal is to be a professional fast pitch softball player in the USA. The USA take the sport a lot more seriously than SA and I want to be challenged against the best. I've always dreamt about taking my softball career further and follow in the footsteps of my aunt Ravella Gericke as well as my studies in one day being a Chartered accountant when my softball career ends one day.
  • What makes me a good candidate: I am a very confident person, who is highly motivated to achieve my goals. I don't give up and I make sure that I don't fail in something I set my self to achieve. I am a good team player, quick learner, and I will always push my team to do the best we can do.
