Gianna Lickel '23 Recruiting Profile

Since the time I was old enough to play sports, I've been involved with soccer, volleyball, track, softball, and any other sport available to me. As I entered middle school my passion for softball grew. I realized that only playing school ball may not challenge me to grow my game as much as I wanted, so I decided to move to club ball and pursue my love for the game even more. Every day I learn something new about the game; from my teammates, games I watch online, coaches, and girls we play against. One thing I've loved most about the game is that my softball team turns into my family. The girls that I share the field with are the girls that make me the happiest in life and the game we get to share together to teach us teamwork. My goal is play at the next level and my hope is playing collegiate softball that my skills in the game get to expand and grow more and I get to have a group of girls that share the same passion to strive and win as a family.
