Bailey Gardner '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello! My name is Bailey Gardner and I’ve been playing softball for the past 7 years. My interest and passion for softball comes from watching my mother play while I was growing up. Throughout my softball career; I have made life long friends, grown as a person, and learnt what it means to compete at a high level. Although my journey is far from over, I have had to overcome obstacles concerning my mental health. But softball has always been a great outlet for me to grow and heal. 

I was given the opportunity to play on a team that won the Western Canadian Championship, and another team that won gold at the North American Indigenous Games. From these past experiences, I have learnt the importance of commitment, teamwork, and dedication. I’m searching for a program that will be a good fit for me both athletically and academically. I know I would be a great addition to your team!
