Hello, my name is Olivia Adams and thank you for visiting my player profile. I live in Baltimore, Maryland with my parents and my sister. I attend The Catholic High School of Baltimore (TCHS) and am enrolled in the STEM and Honors Programs and have a grade point average of 4.2 on a 4.5 scale. I am also a member of the Student Council, the Athletic Association of TCHS, and was selected to the National Honors Society. I concluded my 2016/2017 academic year making the Gold Honor Roll with straight 'A's'.
I have played softball since I was 7 years old and travel ball since I was 8. From that time, I have grown as a player and continued to sharpen my skills at each age and classification level. At each step, whether as a varsity freshman or a new player on a travel team, I have contributed to the success of my teams, either by hitting, base running or defense, being a leader on several of my teams in hits/average, home runs, stolen bases, and fielding percentage. I also encourage my teammates whenever I can. I want to be a well-rounded, all-around player, on and off the field.
I am currently playing for my high school varsity team and the 16U Lazers travel team, where we played several showcase tournaments in Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and South Carolina. We had a successful 2017 season highlighted by a USSSA State Championship.
Also, last summer (2017), I was selected to play in the Under Armour Softball Factory World Series in Vero Beach, Florida where my team won the championship.
In addition to softball, I play varsity and club volleyball, usher at my Church and am an active member in my Church Youth Ministry.
The sport of softball is fun, fast and exciting and is a sport I enjoying playing. I have a good work ethic and dedication that enables me to increase my skills and get valuable experience. What I learned most is to do my best and help my team be successful, whether at practice or during a game. Thanks again for visiting my profile.
