Marissa Webb '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Marissa Webb.  My goal is to play softball at the highest level possible. I'm a dominant right-handed pitcher & hitter. I pitch in the mid to upper 60's and I have 5 active pitches that I can place:

fastball, change up, screw, curve & rise ball.

I'm also a power hitter with more than 50+ home runs in my career.

I also play 1st base. I can pick the ball, go into a full split when needed to make the play and have a very long reach. 

I can also play 3rd base when needed. 

I also have Dyslexia & Dysgraphia. Reading has always been tough for me but my Mom & Dad have taught me to persevere and work hard. I am able to keep my grades up while practicing/playing softball everyday. 

I absolutely love softball.  I've always excelled at softball because it's provided me with a strong sense of hope and achievement during a time in my life when academics where very challenging. 

Outside of softball, I love weightlifting, going to the gym, beach volleyball, crafts & hanging with friends.
