Moving from Australia to America was a scary and life-changing experience. Before I had even started at my new school, I found a softball team to play on. Playing softball introduced me to my first friends in the United States and gave me the confidence to be more outgoing and introduce myself to people at my new school.
As a student, my main aspiration is to complete a degree that leads to a career in occupational therapy. I want to work in occupational therapy because I am fascinated by the way the body works and helping people regain the skills necessary to do the things they want and need to do.
My brother has been my main inspiration through my athletic career, he plays men's fast pitch softball at the international level representing Australia. My goal is to play softball at the highest level possible, working through the collegiate level, then hopefully playing to represent my country.
