Personal Statement
Dear Coaches,
Hard work and tons of practice really pays off. Many players and coaches speak of the “five-tool” player. I believe I have the five-tools, plus one (the “sixth-tool”). I believe the sixth-tool is the reason for many of my accomplishments, which encompasses heart, dedication, self-motivation, and self-confidence. These are the personal qualities I believe have contributed to one of my greatest accomplishments thus far, making and starting on my varsity high school team as a freshman and leading my team to the Maryland State 3A Championship. While being named a 2018 Pre-Season Rookie All-American (Softball Factory), a 2019 Pre-Season All-American (Softball Factory), and earning 2nd team All-County as a freshman, I believe my fundamental skills and personal character have helped lead my teams to victory.
In striving to be the best, I have learned to challenge myself on and off the field, competing against the strongest players, both academically and athletically. While softball is my passion, academics is just as important to me. Scholastically, I embrace the challenges of taking the hardest classes available.
My ultimate goal is to attend a top University and to compete in an elite softball program where I may showcase my talents and abilities to help bring my team to victory.
